Senior Executive, Education Office
Working in the NUHS Education Office, you will be part of the team to propose and implement strategies, priorities and standards as part of the NUHS Education mission.
Your scope of work will cover the various aspects of education and support for educators, including facilitating education and training for students, promoting initiatives to recognise educators, supporting the development of new curriculum, courses and programmes to build a pipeline of healthcare workforce for the future, as well as managing programmes undertaken by the Department.
In this role, you will work closely with various stakeholders, including colleagues from the NUHS institutions and the MOH to deliver the education mission.
Job Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the following:
Specific
Administration of the Workplace Training Grant (WTG) Programmes
- Provide comprehensive administrative support for the WTG programmes, including coordinating logistics, procuring materials, and managing resources to ensure smooth execution of the activities
- Manage the collection, maintenance, and organisation of training and programme data - including training materials, schedules, evaluations, and reports to ensure readiness for audits and accreditations
- Prepare reports that analyse attendance, feedback, funding utilisation and resource needs to enhance programme effectiveness and support quality assurance
- Track training budgets, support procurement of equipment and consumables, and maintain proper financial and administrative documentation
- Monitor the quality, delivery and volume of the training under the WTG programmes for sharing with management and Programme Leads
- Main Liaison with MOH and Programme Leads and trainers
General
- Support and implement educational initiatives that contribute to building a future-ready healthcare workforce
- Work collaboratively with Education Offices (EDO) and Healthcare Institutions (HCIs) on education and training matters
- Perform central administrative duties
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience. Relevant experience in a healthcare setting and holder of an Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance is preferred
- Strong inter-personal and communication skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and have good collaborative, analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in MS Office
