The Senior Executive of the NUHS Command Centre Operations will assist the Manager to handle daily operations of NUHS Command Centre. 

Key Responsibilties

Daily operations of the NUHS Command Centre

  • Assist in the running of the day-to-day operations of NUHS Command Centre.
  • Monitor NUHS hospitals’ inflow, inflight and outflow situation.
  • Conduct trend analysis based on past data to derive predicted future trending of hospital flow.
  • Preparation and dissemination of operations staff aids and reports, as and when needed.
  • Facilitate meeting set up and running, as and when needed.

 

Development and implementation of an Integrated C3 System comprising various IT platforms and data sources for NUHS as part of NUHS 2030 Vision for C3

  • Assist in harnessing operational metrics, information and data from the various IT source systems and propose feasible solutions for an integrated view within the NUHS Command Centre.
  • Assist in project managing the existing and future C3 systems, collaborating with stakeholders on product delivery in accordance with the project objectives, scope, resource allocation, success criteria, and risk management strategies.
  • Assist to prepare project reports and documentation, inclusive of progress updates, fulfilment of KPIs, milestones achieved, and lessons learned.
  • Assist to conduct post-project evaluation to identify areas of improvement and best practices that can be used for future projects.

Assist in harmonising and enhancing current operational dashboards by engaging relevant stakeholders on their requirements. 

  • Understand the breadth and depth of the current operational dashboard eco-system within NUHS to be the Subject Matter Expert on their use cases and purposes.
  • Engage with relevant stakeholders (i.e. operational users) to understand their needs, expectations, challenges, and requirements.
  • Assist in the provision of regular project updates, status reports, and presentations to the department and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
  • Proactively manage stakeholder expectations and address any concerns or conflicts.

Assist in NUHS External Operations such as TCF West and Singapore Emergency Medical Team (SGEMT)

  • To coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on tasking orders, resource planning, disseminating response and activation plans, support in logistics coordination, forecast of key events, etc.
  • Assist in the monitoring and provision of situation updates on NUHS External Operations, as required.

Organisational Requirements and Others Relevant Duties, Projects As Assigned

  • To perform ad-hoc duties and to support projects or assignments that may arise as part of the organisation’s needs.
  • When External Crisis Command Centre is stood up: The Senior Executive will be expected to be on-call after office hours and on weekends to manage, troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Requirements

  • Degree in any discipline.
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience in administration / project management.
  • Experience in operations in public healthcare will be advantageous although not necessary.
  • Experienced in project planning management, stakeholder management,
  • Familiarity in operational and emergency planning is optional.
  • Ability to translate project plans and strategies into implementable work plans.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at different levels and from different functions within the organization.
  • Ability to operate in a complex environment and be flexible and adaptive to changing roles and priorities.
  • Ability to collaborate, have decent interpersonal and communication skills.
