Overview
To assist and manage IT and educational technologies within NUHS Graduate Medical Education (GME) Office.
This position is a 1-year contract role, renewable based on satisfactory job performance.
Job Responsibilities
Information and Educational Technology System
- Manage and provide technical support for residents’ onboarding, changeover and offboarding IT accesses.
- Conduct bi-annual reviews on residents’ user accesses.
- Maintain NGEMR matrixes, IT databases and process workflows.
- Plan and execute IT projects to upgrade or enhance the office's technological capabilities.
- Maximise the utilisation of the education management systems (eg. Medhub) to enhance GME workflows and operations.
- Address and oversee any alterations to current systems, applications, and hardware configurations.
- Establish communication between Residency Programmes and stakeholders to support efficiency of IT operations.
Asset Management
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of all IT and educational technology assets owned by the department, including laptops, desktops, monitors, printers and specialised equipment.
- Liaise with Programme Coordinators, IT office and vendor and manage the full lifecycle of departmental IT assets, including budgeting, procurement, deployment, assignment, transfers, replacements, returns, and disposal.
- Establish and maintain asset databases, records, and documentation to ensure proper tracking, accountability, and audit readiness.
Productivity Tools and IT Projects
- Understand workflows and operational needs, and identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and digital tools to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Explore the effective use of AI, productivity tools and digital solutions to streamline processes, reduce manual work and support training and educational needs.
Others
- Support events and education-related activities organised by NUHS GME Office.
- Undertake any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in relevant field, preferably with similar working experience in education or healthcare environment.
- Excellent data analytical, problem-solving skills and pay attention to details.
- Ability to communicate effectively to diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a dynamic, fast-changing environment, with a sense of timeliness.
- Ability to work well independently as well as in teams.
- Proficient with Microsoft applications especially with Excel, Work and Powerpoint.
