About Department and Purpose of the Position
The incumbent will play a key role in driving operational excellence and transformation initiatives, starting with Pharmacy services and progressively contributing to broader Allied Health & Pharmacy (AH&P) Operations.
This includes leading cross-functional process improvements, supporting digital and system integration projects, and partnering stakeholders to enhance patient experience, service delivery, and operational efficiency. This role offers a broad platform to develop capabilities across operations, analytics, and project delivery, with opportunities to contribute to cross-cutting initiatives under AH&P Operations.
Key Responsibilities
Operations and Patient Experience:
- Partner Pharmacy Section leads to drive day-to-day operational performance across pharmacy sections, improving workflow efficiency, turnaround time, and patient experience through data-driven interventions.
Process Improvement & Transformation:
- Support digital, process, and service improvements to enhance efficiency and enable new care delivery models.
Financial & Resource Planning:
- Support financial planning, cost optimisation, and evaluation of initiatives to ensure efficient use of resources across pharmacy operations.
Vendor & Logistics Management:
- Manage vendor performance and logistics workflows to ensure reliable service delivery, compliance, and efficient inventory management.
Projects, Infrastructure & Stakeholder Management:
- Coordinate and support delivery of projects including renovation, infrastructure upgrades, and system implementation, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
People Management & Ground Operations:
- Supervise PSA staff, strengthen operations, and improve productivity through coaching, engagement, and workflow optimisation.
Broader AH&P Operations Contribution:
- Support cross-functional initiatives beyond pharmacy, contributing to AH&P-wide operations and strategic priorities.
Key Requirements
- Recognised basic degree\
- At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in healthcare operations, administrative management, or pharmacy is preferred. Experience or exposure to logistics and inventory management will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical skills with effective written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficient in IT applications, including Microsoft Office suite and data management or visualization tools such as Tableau.
- A collaborative team player with good interpersonal skills, able to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
