About Department and Purpose of the Position
The Senior Executive/Assistant Manager/Senior Assistant Manager will be a Data Protection Communications Manager. He/She will develop and deliver effective educational materials and campaigns focused on data protection, and support the data protection team manage compliance in the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate and provide training, briefings and guidance on data protection best practices at various internal sharing platforms.
- Develop, organise and deliver educational campaigns to continuously raise awareness and strengthen data protection culture.
- Provide guidance in managing data breaches and data incidents in accordance with hospital policies.
- Conduct regular data protection audits and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data protection measures are integrated into business processes.
- Handle internal (staff) and external (public) queries.
- Support department’s operations and administrative matters or any other duties/projects as assigned by supervisor.
- Ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisor
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- Proficient in MS Office applications especially PowerPoint.
- Extroverted and confident in public speaking, collaborating and engaging with various levels of stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written.
- Keen and motivated to continuously learn and improve, proactive, optimistic and thrive when facing challenges.
- Diligent in completing tasks and processes from start to end, adhere well to timelines independently and as a team.
- Tendency to be creative/resourceful, analytical and keen in problem-solving.
- Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in graphic designing and/or experiences in healthcare, data protection/compliance and/or teaching/training/facilitation work is advantageous.
