We are seeking a detail-oriented and numerically adept individual to manage funding within the NUHS Graduate Medical Education (GME) Office.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage subvention budget for residency programmes and prepare reports on subvention utilisation to provide insights for decision-making
- Facilitate communication between Finance and other departments regarding subvention matters, and assist in subvention-related audits and assessments by providing necessary documentation and support
- Forecast and oversee disbursement of funds to internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare Faculty appointments, funding allocation report, and Faculty Development Claims report
- Handle billing processes and coordinate administrative tasks
- Collate and verify didactic plans and protected training time submissions
- Track and collate funding related documentation for submission.
- Ensure adherence to funding policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Support subcomm, events and GME education-related activities.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any field (Finance, Statistics, or Accounting degree is a plus but not required).
- Understanding of subvention principles and processes (prior experience is advantageous but not required).
- Strong numerical aptitude and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Capable of multi-tasking and thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently when needed.
- Proficient with Excel and other MS office applications.
