About the Role:

 

We are seeking a motivated Senior Executive / Assistant Manager to play a pivotal role in advancing research within NUHS@Home, a growing platform at the intersection of clinical care, population health, and innovation.

 

In this role, you will work closely with clinicians, investigators, and operational teams to translate research ideas into well-executed studies. You will be involved across the full research lifecycle, from protocol development and ethics submissions to study coordination and dissemination of findings, contributing directly to research that informs real-world healthcare delivery.

 

This position is well-suited for candidates who enjoy managing complexity, working with multidisciplinary stakeholders, and enabling high-quality research in a fast-evolving healthcare environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  1. Research Project Development and Coordination
    • Support investigators to develop, refine, and operationalise research protocols
    • Develop and maintain project timelines and workplans
    • Coordinate the end-to-end execution of multiple concurrent research studies, from initiation through close-out
    • Serve as a central point of coordination across clinicians, research assistants, data teams, and external collaborators
    • Monitor study progress, identify risks or bottlenecks early, and support timely resolution
    • Prepare progress updates, reports, and internal briefings for stakeholders

 

  1. Ethics, Regulatory, and Governance Support
    • Prepare and manage ethics submissions, amendments, renewals, and study status reports to relevant IRB/DSRB committees
    • Ensure all research activities comply with regulatory requirements, institutional policies, and good research practice standards
    • Maintain accurate, complete, and audit-ready regulatory and essential study documentation

 

  1. Research Outputs and Dissemination
    • Support the preparation and coordination of manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and presentations
    • Liaise with investigators and collaborators to consolidate inputs and support timely submission to peer-reviewed journals and conferences
    • Contribute to strengthening research outputs and visibility of NUHS@Home initiatives

 

Requirements:

 

  1. Education
    • Master’s degree in Public Health, or any related field; OR
    • Bachelor's degree with substantial and relevant experience in healthcare or research project management

 

  1. Experience
    • 1–2 years of experience supporting health services, clinical, or population-based research projects
    • Experience contributing to research protocol development and study coordination
    • Hands-on experience with ethics and regulatory submissions (IRB/DSRB)
    • Exposure to research dissemination activities (e.g. manuscripts, abstracts, conferences)
    • Comfortable working independently and liaising with multidisciplinary stakeholders

 

  1. Skills and Competencies
    • Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple studies concurrently
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including drafting research and ethics documents
    • High level of initiative, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
