Reporting to the Deputy Group Chief Technology Officer, we are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of projects across branding, social media strategy, content creation, and stakeholder engagement. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and proven experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, develop creative solutions, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset, a background in creative project management, and an ability to adapt to evolving project needs, contributing to impactful organizational growth.

Responsibilities  

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with organizational goals and client needs.  
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, tracking progress from initiation to completion.  
  • Coordinate internal teams and external vendors or partners, ensuring seamless execution of campaigns and initiatives.  
  • Lead content creation efforts, including planning and overseeing social media, digital content, and creative assets.  
  • Manage grant applications, fund proposals, and reporting processes to support project funding and compliance.  
  • Provide administrative support such as scheduling meetings, preparing proposals, managing correspondence, and maintaining project documentation.  
  • Monitor project performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.  
  • Lead, motivate, and manage project teams, fostering high performance and collaboration.  
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues effectively to stakeholders and senior leadership.  
  • Oversee and manage content development, ensuring messaging aligns with brand and project objectives.  
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans to mitigate project risks.  
  • Support business development activities through proposal writing and pitch presentations.

Requirements  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Communications, English, or related fields; a Master’s degree is a plus.  
  • Experience of working in any industry for more than 3 years relating to project management
  • Proven experience managing creative, digital, and social media projects, with a strong portfolio of successful campaign delivery.  
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.  
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.  
  • Proficiency with project management and content management tools (e.g., Asana, Microsoft Project, JIRA).  
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.  
  • Experience in content creation, social media strategy, grant management, and administrative support.  
  • Ability to analyze problems, evaluate solutions, and implement effective strategies.  
  • Certification such as PMP or equivalent is desirable.  
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills, with a collaborative approach to team management.
