Senior Manager, Corporate Planning & Performance Management
Overview
The Corporate Planning & Performance Management department assists the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in developing, executing, and monitoring the corporate strategy in alignment with NUHS cluster direction.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Providing managerial, administrative, and project management support to achieve JurongHealth Campus’ strategic objectives.
2. Developing and implementing strategic planning processes and campus-wide initiatives.
3. Monitoring execution of strategic plans and reporting progress to senior leadership.
4. Maintaining systems to supply data and information for planning and strategy development.
5. Collaborating with departments and stakeholders to identify key trends, needs, and opportunities.
6. Ensuring compliance with MOH licensing requirements for hospitals and medical clinics.
7. Administering and evaluating departmental activities, including policies, plans, budgets, and initiatives.
Accountabilities

Facilitate the development of strategic plans for JurongHealth Campus and ensure effective communication of the campus strategy map and balanced scorecard across all departments.

Implement and refine upon planning processes to achieve Health System objectives that are cascaded throughout the organisation. Lead the annual planning process for JurongHealth Campus and ensure alignment to organisational priorities and long term vision.

Strategically align and integrate initiatives and activities with the NUHS cluster to ensure synergy to cluster requirements.

Maintain and refine a responsive performance tracking system to monitor and track the progress of key corporate initiatives and performance indicators ensuring they remain responsive to current business needs. Oversee the reporting and analysis of business performance against targets, providing actionable insights to guide decision-making.

Provide project management support for departmental level or organizational level initiatives, enhancing stakeholder collaboration to facilitate successful outcomes aligned with business priorities

Manage the team, including budgets, reports, daily activities, policies and procedures and the hiring, evaluation and development of staff.

Mentor and develop staff to increase industry acumen and improve team value and results.
Requirements

Bachelor Degree and above, preferably with postgraduate qualifications in healthcare administration or comparable industry experience.

At least 6 years of proven experience as a Strategic Planner or Business Consultant. Prior experience in healthcare management and administration is an advantage.

Demonstrate strategic thinking abilities with an analytical mind and possess problem solving aptitude.

Knowledge of business operations and procedures.

Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate and move activities within the given timeline.

Self-starter and nimble multi-tasker, able to handle complex projects.
