Snr Asst Manager / Manager, Transformation Office
Overview
The position drives strategic transformation projects aligned with NUHS’s Strategic goals of keeping the population healthy, anchoring care in the community, and delivering appropriate care. This position shall work with the leads in Key initiatives including “Restructuring IT systems to enable integrated, seamless care”, “Care Consolidation” in Apt Care, and strengthening collaboration with community healthcare partners through “Direct Access Protocols”. Amongst other things, the role supports NUHS Care Plan objectives in improving population health and aims at reducing avoidable acute hospital utilization (ASU).
Job Description
End-to-End Project Leadership
(Portfolio Management of Transformative Initiatives)
- Oversee and lead existing critical projects planning initiatives for new care models over the next 2–3 years, ensuring alignment with NUHS’s long-term vision.
- Drive the full lifecycle of strategic transformation projects—from scoping and planning to solutioning, execution and post-implementation review.
- Coordinate efforts across clinical, operational, and technology domains to ensure seamless integration.
- Optimize resource allocation across work packages, balancing immediate priorities with future scalability.
Stakeholder Engagement & Alignment
- Act as the primary strategic partner to senior leaders, clinical teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (clinical, IT, operations) to ensure alignment and timely execution.
- Drive consensus and secure adoption of new care models through clear communication and influence.
Risk Management
- Anticipate organizational roadblocks and proactively manage risks inherent in large-scale transformation.
- Develop contingency plans, including succession strategies and “bus-factor” coverage for key roles.
Change Management
Work with effector teams to drive change management and user adoption for new systems and workflows.
Performance Reporting
- Prepare accurate and timely status reports for senior management, sponsors and platforms.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as (non-exhaustive):
- Business Administration
- Information Technology
- Healthcare Administration
- Minimum 4 years project management experience, focused on IT or Operational Transformation (healthcare preferred).
- Proven ability to translate strategic goals into actionable, results-oriented execution.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Project Management certification (e.g. PMP, Agile / Scrum Certifications) is highly desirable.
- A driven self-starter passionate about shaping the future of integrated care.
