Special Asst/Senior Associate Executive, Communications Office
The NUHS Group Communications Office oversees communications strategies and projects at the cluster level for the National University Health System (NUHS). We seek a highly organised and proactive individual to join the team to provide executive, project, and communications support to the Group Chief Communications Officer (GCOO) and Deputy Group Chief Communications Officer (Dy GCOO).
The role is pivotal in ensuring the support for strategic communications initiatives, project timelines, and stakeholder engagements across the NUHS cluster. The incumbent should possess good communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and discretion. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to impactful communications initiatives that support NUHS mission in delivering quality healthcare.
Job Responsibilities:
Executive & Administrative Support
- Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support, including managing complex calendars and meeting logistics.
- Manage confidential correspondence and documents with discretion.
Project Coordination and Monitoring
- Track and monitor key communications projects and initiatives.
- Support the implementation of governance processes for project dashboards, timelines and reporting.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure deliverables are met on time and within scope.
Communication and Event Support
- Support the planning and execution of events, including logistics and stakeholder coordination.
- Assist in the execution of internal and external communications campaigns.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as liaison between the GCOO Office and internal/external stakeholders.
- Coordinate cross-functional meetings and ensure alignment across departments.
- Maintain organised records and documentation for reference and audit purposes.
Job Requirements:
Qualification Required and Area of Discipline
· Diploma or Degree in Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
· 3–5 years of experience in executive support, project coordination, or communications.
· Strong organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project tracking tools (e.g., Excel, SharePoint, Trello).
Required Competencies and Capabilities (Skills, Experiences and Professional Licences)
· Experience supporting executive suite or senior leadership.
· Familiarity with healthcare or public sector environments.
· Ability to multi-task and manage tight timelines with professionalism.
· Meticulous, proactive, and adaptable to dynamic work environments.
