The Opportunity:

We are looking for individuals in the maintenance of our surgical instruments, in accordance with infection control standards.  You will be part of the team to take charge of the cleanliness of the surgical instruments.

 

Job Description:

The incumbent is responsible to:

  • Clean and wash surgical instruments
  • Sort, assemble, protect, pack and label instrument sets according to instrument checklist
  • Perform validation and sterility tests
  • Document and verify sterilisation loads
  • Store and issue sterile instruments

 

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum GCE "N" / "O" Level or equivalent
  • Candidates with relevant experience or with WSQ Higher Certificate in Healthcare Support (Sterilisation Services) / WSQ Higher Certificate in Healthcare Support (Nursing Care) with CSSD Modules will be an advantage
  • Candidates with no prior experience but keen to learn are welcome to apply
  • Comfortable to carry heavy loads/items up to 7-10kg
  • Comfortable with 3-rotating shift and working on weekends
